Be Inspired to Make Your Own Impact

  1. Show up.

Showing up is the most powerful thing you can do. You might regret signing up, but rarely will you regret showing up. That is because some things in life don’t seem important until after you’ve done them. And sometimes, when it is harder to be there, it will mean more that you are there.

  1. Be intentional.

If you do not intend to solve a problem or be helpful, then the likelihood that you will do either is very low, nearing zero. Choose to do something and commit to it with intention.

  1. Do not wait for perfect conditions. You do not have to be perfect to be great.

Sometimes all you will have, is the sense that you are directionally correct. When you combine that with smart people and determination…you will achieve great things.

  1. Do not stand still.

Change things up occasionally, even if all you learn is that you shouldn’t have changed things at all.

  1. You don’t have to move mountains to make a difference.

But if you are going to try, make sure you’ve got strong friends.

  1. Ask for help. Help when asked.

Never be afraid to ask for help. But make sure you are there when people need you the most. Despite what some might tell you, life is not an individual sport.

  1. Believe in people.

Your faith aside, nothing really matters more than the relationships you have with people. No system or process, job, thing, or amount of money matters more than people.  If you can get your relationships right and put people first, you will leave this life with few regrets.
