Kathy Smart is Chief Marketing Officer at PBS Contractors, bringing more than 30 years of marketing and business development leadership to one of Southwest Florida’s premier luxury construction firms. Kathy believes in the power of strong teams, trusted partnerships, and meaningful community engagement.
A proud graduate of Leadership Collier (Class of 2022) and chair of the LCF Leadership Lunch Committee, Kathy also served on the Board of Directors for the Collier Building Industry Association (CBIA) and continues to serve on the CBIA Sales & Marketing Council. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Interior Design Society SWFL and is a past board member of the Public Relations Society of America local chapter. She is a past mentor with Champions for Learning, and in 2025, was honored as Builder of the Year by the Collier Building Industry Association. This peer-selected award recognizes sustained dedication to the industry, authentic service to CBIA, and a standard of leadership that elevates everyone around her.
Kathy recently earned her Pearson-accredited AI Systems Generalist certification at the BREATHE! GPS Summit 2026, deepening her expertise in applying AI tools and systems within real-world business environments.
When she is not leading brand strategy or volunteering, Kathy enjoys RV adventures with her husband and their three rescue dogs.
